It is designed for higher sound absorption and additional ecological functions. Do not confuse development-stage specifications with the verified specifications of REEDuce Standard RS1. ## Applications REEDuce noise protection systems are intended for locations where people, animals or the environment require protection from disturbing or harmful environmental noise, including: - Motorways and roads - Railway infrastructure - Airports - Industrial and production facilities - Other stationary noise sources ## Environmental profile REEDuce uses renewable and predominantly regional construction materials. The system is designed around circular-economy principles and avoids chemically treated surfaces. A life-cycle assessment was conducted for one RS1 panel measuring 3.94 x 1 x 0.19 m and weighing approximately 465 kg. The study follows EN 15804 + A2, ISO 14040, ISO 14044, ISO 14025 and PCR 2019:14. The assessed global warming potential for modules A1–C4 is approximately 123 kg CO2-equivalent per panel, or roughly 31 kg CO2-equivalent per square metre. The assessment includes: - Product stage A1–A3 - Transport and installation A4–A5 - End-of-life stages C1–C4 - Benefits and loads beyond the system boundary in Module D The modelled end-of-life scenario assumes material separation, recycling of most of the clay fraction and energy recovery from reed and thermowood.
